Clevelle Scherer

Clevelle Sherer, Artist and Art Educator


Clevelle is a certified art instructor, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Mary Manse College, Toledo Ohio.  She worked on her Masters of Fine Arts Degree at the Villa Schifanoia, Pius XII Institute, Florence Italy.  She participated in art workshops given by Frank Web, Donald Getz, Homer Hacker, Carol Maringer, and many other well-known artists.  Clevelle has taught art in the public schools in Ohio and Nevada for over 30 years.  She is now retired and enjoying painting, showing, and selling her art work.


Clevelle works in Water Colors, Acrylics, Oils, and Mixed Mediums.  She has displayed, competed, and won honors for her works in numerous juried shows throughout the country.  Clevelle is or has been a member of the Henderson Art Association, Boulder Art Guild, Nevada Water Color Society, Butler Art Guild, Contemporary Arts Collective in Nevada and Ohio, the Ohio Art Education Association, Art Educators of Nevada, and the American Art Association.
