Valerie’s passion for hand-beaded jewelry began in 2012 during a surprise bracelet-making class at a California bead shop, gifted by friends. Instantly captivated by the intricate art of beading, she dove headfirst into the craft — exploring bead shops across Las Vegas, attending classes, and amassing a vibrant collection of supplies.

After retiring from a successful career in Information Technology, Valerie pursued her artistic calling through formal training at the New York Institute of Art & Design. Since 2018, she has been a proud member of the Boulder City Art Guild, where she continues to refine her craft and share her creations.

Valerie specializes in hand-stitched beadwork and bead embroidery, blending precision with imagination. Her designs — rich in texture, color, and storytelling — are available at the Boulder City Art Gallery.
