Valerie Catallozzi began creating hand beaded jewelry in 2012 after a visit with friends to California, who surprised her with a bracelet making class at their local bead shop.  Completely hooked by the process, Valerie began visiting bead shops in the Las Vegas area for more bead supplies and more bead classes (and more bead supplies!), and her passion for beading was born.

Valerie is currently attending the New York Institute of Art & Design for a certificate in Jewelry Design.  Since 2018, she has been a member, jewelry artist, and ad-hoc bead weaving instructor for the Boulder City Art Guild in Boulder City, NV.  In addition, from 2019-2021, Valerie designed over 70 bead weaving patterns, teaching those patterns to almost 700 students during her two-year tenure at Bead Jungle in Henderson, NV. 

Her hand stitched bead work and new designs are available at the Boulder City Art Gallery.
