Lily has been painting, displaying and selling her works for over 40 years; primarily in the
Southern California art communities including galleries in La Jolla, Santa Barbara, San Juan Capistrano, Laguna Beach, Ventura, and Marina Del Ray. As a resident Las Vegas artist, Lily continues
to expand her credits and successful style. Lily began her career with oils; primarily self taught she continues to develop her own personal style with inspiration that comes from within.
“Early on with my career, I developed a serious passion to express myself though painting. Each time I start a new piece, I feel as though I am starting on a new adventure; I never know where it may take me!”
While favoring Landscapes, Seascapes and Historical Landmarks, she also enjoys private
commission work where the objective is to transform people’s mental images into reality. Sincemoving to Vegas she has developed a real passion for the beauty found in the local deserts of Nevada. She is presently offering private instructions and workshops around the Las Vegas area.
“I started my career on the beaches of southern California with oils, while living in New York I found watercolors really lent themselves to the New York landscapes and styles. I am always exploring new techniques for my expression on canvas or paper. Most recently found my self dabbling in Acrylics. Oil however is still my first love, it allows me to create at my own pace lending itself to the glazing method I prefer to achieve luminocity the I strive for in my work.'' I tend to favor realism for its attention to fine detail”.
Lily’s paintings have appeared in numerous exhibitions and won several awards for her
oils, acrylics and watercolors among these are 2nd oils 2015& 2016 Helldorado ,2nd place Boulder City Library show, Directors Award & 2nd in painting med 2015 Clark County Fair, 1st Torret Grey contest by Robert Gamblin Chosen to be part of The Top World Wide Oil Painters Book with the BBOA & Shown at the Santa Paula Museum of Art for “Best of Show” Artist event of the past ten years. 2011: featured in Worldwide Landscape artist for 2012 BBOA Collectors Edison & 2013 Worldwide Landscape Artist.
