I grew up spending the summers with my family in Surf City, New Jersey, learning to surf at age 10. My love of surfing and the ocean inspired me to move to Carlsbad, California in 1977, where I lived for 16 years. In 1991, I began my journey in art, painting surf art and seascapes in oils along the California coast, along with various other subjects. In 1994, I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where I discovered the local beauty of Red Rock Canyon, the desert landscapes, Mt. Charleston, and other nearby state and national parks. Although primarily self-taught through my own experience and observation, I have taken a few art classes along the way and enjoy learning from others’ experience and knowledge when I have the opportunity; I hope to do more of this in the future.
I especially enjoy painting plein-air and I also paint at my home studio from a photo reference. I post all my finished art on my Facebook page, which is a public account, so please follow me there and view photos of my most current art in chronological order as I finish them. Search Facebook for: Keith Noble (Las Vegas, NV). I also post my art on my Instagram account, and I have a website: www.keithnobleart.com, which shows some of my art, but my Facebook page is currently the most complete and up to date catalog of my art.
