Lily Adamczyk

Lily has been painting, displaying and selling her works for over 40 years, primarily in the Southern California art communities including galleries in La Jolla, Santa Barbara, San Juan Capistrano, Laguna Beach, Ventura and Marina Del Rey.

As a resident Las Vegas artist, Lily continues to expand her credits and successful style. Lily began her career with oils.  She was primarily self-taught and continues to develop her own personal style with inspiration that comes from within.

“Early on with my career, I developed a serious passion to express myself through painting. Each time I start a new piece, I feel as though I am starting on a new adventure; I never know where it may take me!”

While favoring Landscapes, Seascapes and Historical Landmarks, she also enjoys private commission work where the objective is to transform a person’s mental images into reality. Since moving to Vegas, Lily has developed a real passion for the beauty found in the local deserts of Nevada. She is presently offering private instructions and workshops around the Las Vegas area.

“I started my career on the beaches of southern California with oils.  While living in New York, I found watercolors really lent themselves to the New York landscapes and styles.  I am always exploring new techniques for my expression on canvas or paper. Most recently, I found myself dabbling in Acrylics. Oil however is still my first love; it allows me to create at my own pace lending itself to the glazing method I prefer to achieve the luminosity that I strive for in my work.  I tend to favor realism for its attention to fine detail.”

Lily’s paintings have appeared in numerous exhibitions and won several awards for her oils and watercolors.  Among these are 1st Torret Grey contest by Robert Gamblin Paints; chosen to be part of “The Top World Wide Oil Painters Book with BBOA and shown at the Santa Paula Museum of Art for “Best of Show” Artist Event of the past 10 years.

In 2011, Lily was featured in Worldwide Landscape artist for 2012 BBOA Collectors’ Edition and 2013 Worldwide Landscape Artist. Chosen by Blick to show in “TheArtist” magazine ad. Her works are included in public and private collections throughout US and Europe. She is represented by The Commissioned, www.thecommissioned.com. She also has her art in the  Boulder City Art Guild Gallery where she has been honored with several ribbons for visitors’ choice.  Most recently Lily was featured on Fine Art America, CheckAdvantage and Three Day Gallery.
